Sunday, August 3rd     Bluegrass Jam

2 p.m. to close.  Open to all -  come in to listen or to lay down some tunes of your own.  This monthly event brings together all the elements of a great night out.  A group of good people grooving to cool tunes, in a tavern stocked with yummy munchies and the widest selection of liquor and beverages in Foster.

He’ll be working his magic at his booth in the back to keep the party rockin’ and rollin’ all night long.  Stop on by and let him know what you’d like to hear tonight.  Send out a romantic song dedicated to your special someone, and get some lovin’ tonight.  Or use music to set the mood to “romance” while you introduce yourself to the pretty lady across the bar.  Buy her an exotic drink - I’m thinking something tropical.   Who knows?  Maybe you’ll get lucky - when you ask her to dance.

Saturday, August 9th    All Day Event

****   Tie-Dye Festival  at the Woodland  ****

featuring    The Loose Change Band  along with

Epic, Jade, Ripple, & The Great Foster Brew Mix

Come play in the Woods  - we’re going to party like it’s 1969!   Festivities kick off a bit after noon, and we’ll be rocking all night long.  Admission is $10  (free for children under 10), and parking and camping are available at no charge .Please, no coolers or grilling.  Kitchen is open till 10 pm, and we’ll be grilling burgers and hot dogs for you all night.

Foster’s very own guitar heroes - The Loose Change Band - will be there to make music for your ears and food for your soul.  You love their tunes, and you’ll dig the grooves of  Epic, Jade, Ripple & The Great Foster Brew Mix.

Let’s make it the best weekend of the summer -  bring your family or leave them at home!. You could even bring your tent and camp out in our field overnight.  Whether you’re a hippie, rocker, bopper, or redneck, you’ll be in great company here at the Woodland’s Tie-Dye Festival. 

Everyday life gets a little boring, doesn’t it? It’s nice being a mom, a dad or granddad - but how about just being yourself for a day?  Moms, use that MySpace page (that your kid is SO embarrassed of) to plan a get together with the girlfriends for a   day at the old Maple Glen,  If you’re a college kid home for the summer, why not contact your high school buddies?  And remember, your parents deserve to let loose and get groovy too!  

You deserve a break from the daily grind, and look, here’s your opportunity.  Screw cleaning the garage - You’d rather spend this weekend at  a FESTIVAL, wouldn’t you?
